We have multiple positions with various time commitments; there is an opportunity for all who are interested to become involved, to synergize, and to advocate for South Seminole Middle School students.
The PTSA Executive Board consists of the following positions: President, 1st Vice President-Programs, 2nd Vice President-Ways and Means, 3rd Vice President-Membership, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary.
If you have never held a PTSA position before, you may be interested in serving on a Board Committee. The PTSA Committees are as follows: Social Media, Hospitality, Newsletter, Reflections, Legislative, Business Partners, Mini Grants, Talent Show Coordinator, Dividend Coordinator, Community Service Coordinator, School Store, and Webmaster.
The positions in bold require a new chairperson for the upcoming school year; Committee help is needed for other positions.

In this digital age, marketing and communicating PTSA's message to the community and those involved has never been easier. SSMS PTSA currently uses a variety of social media tools to market and communicate with the General Membership & the surrounding community, and to establish community partnerships crucial for building a network of advocates. While it is possible for one person to manage all social media and marketing, ideally, multiple people will share the task. The areas of social media and marketing needs are as follows: Facebook Administrator, Twitter Administrator, Webmaster, Newsletter Chair, Community Service Coordinator and Dividend Coordinator.
